The Philippines participated in the Iranian Geometry Olympiad (IGO) last 13 September 2019, continued on the following day for Metro Manila contestants affected by the Friday the 13th earthquake. The IGO, which had its sixth edition this year, was participated in by 55 other countries invited by organizing country Iran in the recent International Mathematical Olympiad. In the Philippines, the IGO was administered by the Mathematical Society of the Philippines in various locations: Quezon City, Puerto Princesa City, Cebu City, Zamboanga City, and Davao City.
